Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of museumwalker.com ("Museum Walker", "the service"), operated by HVALABS, LLC, 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. By using the service you agree to them.

The Service

Museum Walker provides room-by-room visitor guides for museums: descriptions of works, audio narration, maps and practical information. Museum Walker is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any museum. Museum names and floor plans are used to identify the museums only.

Accounts

You sign in with your email address or a Google account. Keep your sign-in links private; anyone with a valid link can access your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

Subscriptions and Payment

Some content requires a paid subscription. Plans, prices and billing periods are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or the link in your subscription emails; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by our payment provider and are subject to their terms. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Refunds

If something is wrong with the service, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we will make it right or refund it. Refunds for later periods are at our discretion, except where consumer law gives you a right to one.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep room numbers, locations and descriptions accurate, but museums move works, close galleries and renovate without notice. The service is provided for general information. Always follow the museum's own signage and staff.

Acceptable Use

You may use the content for your personal visit. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute or resell the content, interfere with the service, or try to bypass access controls.

Intellectual Property

The guide texts, audio and software are owned by HVALABS, LLC or its licensors. Images of artworks are used under public domain or free licences and are credited on the relevant pages where required. If you believe content infringes your rights, email us and we will respond promptly.

Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service while you have an active subscription, we will refund the unused part.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be announced on the site.
